Activities
We must always carefully evaluate the amount of extra
curricular social activities sponsored by or official encouraged by the church
in order to guard against offering such a volume of such activities (which
clearly have their place) that the ministry of the church is undermined.
We know the propensity for over programming. Therefore, our list is
intentionally short. Click on a social activity below for a brief review.
Men’s Softball
On Thursday evenings each summer we
participate in a city-wide church softball league. two games are played each
wee at 6 and 7 PM on park district diamonds. On most evening you will find
many of the family members of the players enjoying the games. The photo
gallery includes some pics of our star (and not so star) athletes.

Annual Family Events
A number of annual events provide
family entertainment throughout the year. Mostly these are church wide events
hosted by a family in the church. Typically the events include a New Year
party, mid summer picnic and an early fall campout.
