Past Speakers at our Annual Fall Preaching Conference
2007 - Stuart Olyott
Well-known UK and US Lecturer. Retired Professor of the Evangelical
Theological College of Wales and retired Pastor of Belvidere Road Church,
Liverpool, England. He also served on the mission field in France. He is author
of several books. Pastor Olyott is an outstanding preacher and well loved
by our congregation. He returns to our pulpit for a third time.
2006 - Gordon Keddie
Pastor Gordon J. Keddie
trained at the Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. He is a
popular conference speaker and has written widely for Evangelical Press
including a number of commentaries in the Welwyn Commentary Series and the two
volume work on the gospel of John in the EP Study Commentary Series. 2005 -
Bob Selph
Bob Selph is the Coordinator for The ASSOCIATION OF
REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCHES OF AMERICA (ARBCA). He serves as the chief
administrator of the association as well as liaison to the churches and
missionaries. He travels the world extensively preaching and ministering.
Before taking on his ARBCA responsibilities Bob pastored in Arizona and South
Carolina for over 20 years. Bob has written many articles including work for
Banner of Truth.
2004 – Art Azurdia
Dr. Arturo Azurdia
III is Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and Director of Pastoral
Mentoring at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. His M. Div. was earned from
The American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley, California, and his D.
Min. from Westminster Seminary in Escondido, California. He was the founding
minister of Christ Community Church in Fairfield, California, where he
subsequently pastored for 19 years. Art is the author of
Spirit Empowered Preaching and a contributing author in two additional
volumes:
The Compromised Church and
Reforming Pastoral Ministry. He is a frequent speaker at various national
and international conferences.
